HOME

Within 72 hours of a game being rained out, or knowing a game needs to be rescheduled because of conflicts, you must provide your opponent with three valid times/dates that your team can play. Setting the game time is a home team advantage. However, please use this advantage in a reasonable manner. Before sending these times/dates to your opponent, please verify the following:

1) The Practice Schedule to look for game spots being reserved. http://www.bhysc.com/practiceschedule

2) The Home Game Schedule find valid open game slot right before or after a currently schedule game. http://www.bhysc.com/homeschedule

3) Review the Field Schedule calendar to verify the open game slot is not being used by a sports program other than BHYSC. http://www.bhysc.com/schedule

3) Verify the field that is open is properly sized for the age of your team. (Please see list below.)

4) Send an email to Debbie Varnerin to confirm your slots.

If you cannot find an appropriate time avaiable you can ask your opponent to host the game.

If your opponent does not confirm a game time within 72 hours of you providing valid dates, please inform the BHYSC League Representative for your league. The current League Contacts can be found on the "Club" page.

Our league contact will speak with their league contact. If they cannot resolve the situation, they will escalate the issue to the appropriate league contact, either RVP or league board.

AWAY

As soon as an away game is canceled because of weather, or you know it must be rescheduled, you should provide the opponent with your known recurring or one time conflicts. For example - "Sorry to hear the game was rained out. When you are looking to reschedule the game, please be aware that we have a Boy Scout camp the weekend of xxxxx." or "We can only field a team on Saturday's after 11 AM." This will save your opponent some time as they look to find reschedule dates.

If you do not hear from your opponent within 72 hours, please inform the BHYSC League Representative for your league. The current League Contacts can be found on the "Club" page.

Our league contact will speak with their league contact. If they cannot resolve the situation, they will escalate the issue to the appropriate league contact, either RVP or league board.
