BHYSC 2025/2026 Tryouts
Why Tryouts? It is not the goal of the tryouts to cut any children. BHYSC firmly believes that every child should have the opportunity to play this great game and we fully understand each child develops at a different pace. The sole goal of the tryout is to group (where possible) kids together that are of similar development each year... to maximize their enjoyment and enhance their experience of the beautiful game. We hope that the parents can appreciate, and pass on to their children, that the team assignment is not meant to be the permanent track for the rest of their soccer career- it's just the appropriate place for them at this moment in time to learn and grow the most.

-Rosters will be announced via email the week of June 9th which is after the last day for league games . The email will identify the player's team assignment, coach (if finalized), and registration information. To secure a roster spot, players must commit to their team by registering by the June 25th deadline and paying the full registration fee.
-For the 2025-2026 season, registration fees include two professional training sessions per week (10 weeks) for both the fall and spring seasons. In previous years, the registration fees included only one training session per week with the coach charging and collecting from parents for additional sessions each week. Given that teams train twice per week, the club has decided to collect all fees up front so parents are not charged multiple times and coaches are not regularly trying to collect. Note that teams that attend tournaments will need to pay additional fees accordingly which will be paid by parents to the coach.
-Refunds will not be given after June 30th for players moving to other teams. Any other requests for refunds will be provided at the discretion of the BHYSC Board of Trustees.
